Cavanaugh brings over two decades of exceptional leadership and expertise in medical meetings, making her a valuable addition to the MGME team.

With more than 20 years of experience in the medical meetings industry, Cavanaugh is renowned for her contributions across various therapeutic areas in both clinical and commercial programs. During her 18-year tenure at Syneos Health, she held the role of program director for Global Medical Meetings and Events, where she drove strategy and execution for global meetings and events. Beyond her operational expertise, Cavanaugh is passionate about mentoring and training professionals, fostering the next generation of respected meeting specialists.

Cavanaugh’s industry influence extends far and wide, serving as an advisory board member for both Global DMC Partners and Pharma Forum. She has also taken on leadership roles as chair, facilitator, and speaker at prominent industry events, including Pharma Forum, GDP Connection, Pharmaceutical Medical Meeting Planner Summit and Teneo Summit.

In her new role at MGME, Cavanaugh will oversee the strategic planning, management, and execution of all meeting and event-related activities. Her focus will center on enhancing client engagement and satisfaction, driving horizontal account growth and ensuring alignment with clients’ business objectives. Her seasoned leadership will guide MGME’s experienced team to deliver consistent quality and foster the expansion and growth of client accounts.
